Lately we have had a wide range of items and products to package from our customers which has kept things here at Wessex Packaging very interesting. In the past we have packaged things on all scales from tiny, electronic ceramic items, to huge Mazda MX5 hardtops and MOD missile packs. This is all made possible due to our bespoke cardboard and foam packaging whereby the packaging is manipulated to fit the shape of the item.
This is the most beneficial and secure way for items to be packaged and overrides other familiar forms such as loose fill and bubble wrap. This month the most interesting thing we packaged was a Mexican beaded cow skull closely followed by cartons for live chickens!
Sniper rifles and ammo were an average size product for us to package, but the large wind generator proved more of a challenge. However due to our hi-tech machinery we created bespoke packaging to ensure the wind generator flew to our client in no time.
